The countdown to the 2023 MCR Junior Comp is on!

Grab your friends and get involved in the 2023 MCR Junior Comp starting 13 September 2023.

Our MCR Junior Competition boasts over 500 participants. Get your mates together to form a team or, if you are an individual looking to register, we will find a team for you to join. All are welcome!

Competition Dates

Run on Wednesdays from 4:30pm, starting on the 13 September to 13 December 2023.

Thomas Dalton Park, Fairy Meadow

Ages

Mini Devils for players aged 4-8 and Junior Comp for players aged 8-16.

Cost  

Mini Devils $50 (skills and drills)

Junior Competition $110 (includes jersey). Early Bird registration $100 (register before 14/7)

Team Registration
The MySideline portal only allows individual rego, if you would like to enter a team please email team list to juniors@wollongongtouch.com.au
Team registration will occur after team list is emailed via separate link.
All teams will be scanned. Teams will only be allowed to have a certain amount of former or current rep players. Teams and score lines will also be watched over the opening 2 rounds and if a modification is needed the Administrators will conduct this.
For rep players and aspiring rep players a chance to play together and at a higher level will come via the Junior and Youth Premier League Series set down for September/October.
Game Times & Rounds

All junior games are played on Wednesday afternoons from 4.30pm. Games are usually played as 15 minute halves. Game commencement times for each division will be finalised closer to commencement of the competition.

Representative Opportunities

Wollongong Touch Association offer pathways for all Junior Participants to representative teams which would see them compete at various regional Gala Days leading up to the NSW Touch Junior State Cup which is held in February each year.

As a part of our High Performance Program and the representative trial process the Club also offer a Junior Premier League competition which was launched with great success in 2020.

This competition allows participants the opportunity to compete consistently at a high level to hone their touch football skills under the expert coaching of some of our representative coaches and senior players. Invitations for this program are sent out in conjunction with representative trials.

 

Please remember the WTA MCR Junior Comp is a fun, inclusive competition for all ages and skill levels. We welcome new and old players and it’s not all about WINNING!
