WTA hopes to send teams from boys and girls under 10s to boys and girls under 18s to the Junior State Cup, and Southern Suns Junior Regionals (date and location TBA) in the lead-up to the February tournament.
Coaches must have the required NSWTA accreditation and a valid Working With Children reference. Proof of both of these should be included in coaching application.
Referees should advise whether they are able to attend any of the events.
Applicants will be judged on experience, willingness to fulfill their coaching obligations through training and trials, and their ability to address Wollongong Touch Association’s key ethical guidelines. The WTA Technical panel will meet to make appointments in August.
Key Questions which must be addressed in your appliation:
- Level of qualification?
- Team/s you are interested in coaching and the reasons why?
- Please list prior playing and coaching history?
- What do you believe is the most important skill for a team to learn and why?
All applications must be forwarded to WTA Technical Director Jared Constable at jared-c@live.com by July 30th.
